I'm thinking grey walls, white bedding, and striped curtains. Yes. I can't decide if I want splashes of yellow or deep purple. Hmm.

Yellow Dresser for the Nursery
I am so excited for this party! There's nothing I love more than spray paint! Spray paint to me is like duct tape to my husband, it can pretty much fix anything!! Thrifty Decor Chick is having a Spray Paint linky party and I can't wait to show off my latest DIY project. I just had a baby boy 3 months ago and have been slowly fixing up his nursery. I had been looking for the perfect dresser for months and finally found on on craigslist, and I knew exactly what I was going to do with it!
This was my inspiration:
And here are the pictures of the priming process. I used Kilz spray paint primer and it worked great!!
And finally, the COLOR! I used Krylon Sun Yellow spray paint and it turned out to be the perfect color! At first I thought it was going to be too bright, but when I added the glaze, it just popped and I love it!
And here is the finished product with the glaze. I used the new Martha Stewart glaze from home depot and mixed it with a little black paint and used a sponge brush to paint it on and get it in the crevices, and waited a few minutes and wiped it off with a damp cloth. It was really a simple process and I loved how it turned out! I used the existing knobs and spray painted those with glossy black paint! Once again, these pictures dont do it justice, but I do have one picture of it in my boys room, so I hope you can get a feel for what it really looks like!

This is what my dresser looked like "before". And sorry for the bad pictures, they were taken with my phone since my camera battery was dead.
